This a procedure to make the breast larger. The most common way is with implants and there are a wide variety of implants shapes, sizes, materials and textures available to choose from. Implants can be placed in a pocket underneath the breast tissue, under the muscle or a bit of both (dual plane).
Fat grafting is an option for some patients and can be repeated to add more volume. Implants can be helpful in taking up small amounts of sagging or excess skin on the breast or can be combined with a mastopexy if more skin tightening is required.
At the initial consultation with Richard, a pre-operative assessment will be made with some key measurements recorded of your breast and chest, alongside documentation of nipple position and skin tissue quality and laxity. Clinical photography will be taken to enable before and after images once the procedure is complete. We will ask you to provide medical history including any previous surgery, medications and allergies.
Finally a comprehensive discussion regarding risks and complications will take place, alongside a discussion regarding the post procedure and recovery phase.
